So why do so many people make decisions this way? I believe it is because most people have never sat down to explore what's really important to them. They don't really know what they value in life. Oh, they may know how important it is to them to spend time with their family and friends. And they may know that they value honesty and integrity and hard work. But they have never sat down and listed out those things that are really important (valuable) to them and then aligned their financial decisions with those things that they value most. Let's take a minute to stop and think.
